Ladies and gentlemen, I'm back with a brand new Destiny's Child edition of new music releases!!! These lovely ladies have been on FIRE on this past year!!! The only thing better would be a complete DC reunion. Billboard named Destiny's Child ranked them as one of the greatest trio's of all time, the ninth most successful artist/band in the 2000s, and finally they rank number 68 in its All-time Hot 100 artists in 2008. So without further a due I give you new singles from the ladies of DC!!!
She is the most successful and well known member of the group after their separation in 2005. She has starred in movies such as "Austin Powers: Goldmember", "The Fighting Temptations", "Dreamgirls" and "Obsessed". Her first album "Dangerously in love" was released in 2003. Since then she has released four other albums including her self-titled surprise album that was just released earlier this year. Her new song partition is absolutely amazing!!! Since the disbandment, Kelly has also appeared in movies such as, "Freddy vs. Jason", "The seat filler" and "Think like a man". She released her debut album, "Simply deep" in 2002. Along with rapper Nelly, she produced a worldwide #1 single "Dilemma". In 2007 she released her second album, "Ms. Kelly" and in 2011 her third album, "Here I am". Rowland was one of the four judges on this past season of the X-Factor. Her fourth album "Talk a good game" was released earlier in 2013, with the hit single "kisses down low". Williams released her first album, "Heart to yours" which became the top selling gospel release of 2002. In 2004, she released her second gospel album "Do you know". After Destiny's Child disbanded in 2005, she released her first pop album, "Unexpected" in 2008. Currently, she is making a return to inspirational music with her up and coming album "Journey to freedom". The lead single of this album, "If we had your eyes" features Fantasia. RNB Divas LA Reunion becomes TVOne's most watched network show of all time. According to TvbytheNumbers.com more than 800 thousand viewers nationwide tuned in to part one of the reunion special. The 800 thousand fans made the reunion special the current #1 watched show on TVOne's
network.
The show premiered on July 10th and has since became a trademark for TVOne's television network.
The reunion show brought the laughter, drama, and answers to viewers questions. The show was hosted by Wendy Williams and she made sure to ask the tough questions and get the latest information on the Divas.
The show started out with Wendy Williams questioning the attendance of cast member Dawn Robinson who did not attend the reunion show. Shortly after, the Divas got to business answering questions concerning relationships, music, baby daddy issues, and working with the cast.
Claudette Ortiz, female singer of City High, shared information about her past and relationship with her ex husband and gave an exclusive sneak peak into her life. She shared at the reunion that she was living from house to house and before receiving the call to be added to the cast, she was living in her car.
However, the sultry singer maintained her composure and validated why she is making a new beginning for her family and discussed her current living situation.
Next, Michel'le discussed her relationship issues. She discussed the intimidation factor of having two well known famous baby fathers and the effects it has on her love life. The jokes were flying and the divas were enjoying themselves. However...
After the jokes and fun were over, the drama began to rear it's ugly head. The questions about Kelly Price's absences did not sit well with the Divas. The Divas explained their situation and the truth came out. Confusion and communication issues amongst the cast became the downfall in the relationships of some of the Divas.
Lil Mo questioned the friendship her and Kelly Price shared. Then Wendy asked Chante Moore the tough question on the custody battle between her and ex husband Kenny Latimore. Wendy even addressed the gay rumors circulating around Chante's famous ex husband. The show was very entertaining and brought out the eye popping reality of the entertainment industry.
The show would end on a high note with "Divalouge" director Fred Thomas being added to the discussion. Wendy posed one question too Fred and he answered accordingly. The answer was shocking to everyone and the show ended instantly.
R&B Divas, is one of the many new reality shows that are racking up the dollars. It's unique storyline focuses on the day to day adventures of popular 90s R&B singers. Financially, the trend of reality television is creating major bucks for smaller television networks.
According to Investopedia, the recent financial boom has helped smaller television networks expand and grow beyond the major television networks. The reality tv shows are financially cheaper to create than most television scripted dramas.
TvOne, is definitely racking up the dollars off of this show and has made an official impression on the reality television scene.
