Love and Hip Hop Atlanta

The world's most entertaining and controversial reality show has made a successful return to the television screens of many drama thirsty individuals, including myself. In fact, the reality phenomenon has created a buzz like no other with the recent additions to the cast.

To avoid giving out spoilers on the show, I will only discuss the new additions to the show and the juicy drama that has transpired thus far. To begin, let discuss the new cast...

Let's begin with Bambi, her most notable mention is comes from Basketball wives LA. She was the quite party girl who knew how to push the buttons of her cast mates. However, on Love and Hip Hop she expresses her deep love for rapper Scrappy. However, rapper scrappy isn't to fond of being with one woman. Furthermore, the media just found out about Bambi being pregnant with his child. Unfortunately, Scrappy has stated many times that he isn't in love with Bambi, but will make it work out for the bun in the oven.  It would seem that her story line will revolve around Scrappy and his antiques with multiple women. Check out Scrappy's confession to fellow cast member Kirk.

Next, we have Tammy Rivera. Tammy is the fiancé of rapper, Waka Flocka Flame. They have had a tremulous 3 year relationship, however, they have finally decided to walk down the aisle. Rivera, is a business women with a very successful line of clothes for women. She is also a stylist and fashonista too the stars.

She brings a more humble, relaxed, and educated appeal to the show. However, the recent previews have shown trouble brewing with Rivera and cast member Joseline Hernandez. Check out a video about her high end fashion line.

Then, we have the secret addition to the show. Kaleena Harper (Spoiler alert) , who is the secret cast member that will be introduced very soon. Unfortunately, the drama just began and she hasn't stepped onto the show yet. However, for those who do not know who she is, Harper, was the third member of the highly successful group Dirty Money. After their disbandment, she has been working hard to become the solo artist she was born to be.

Last but not least, we have rapper Young Joc, who has officially joined the cast. The Atlanta recording artist is known for hit songs like "Its Going Down" which garnished him major success in the early 200s. Now, he is back in the limelight and has the heart of the infamous Karlie Redd. Their relationship constantly changes with the day. In fact check out the clip below to see Joc's reaction when Karlie is caught red handed flirting with R&B singer, Jeremih.

The show continues to gain a tremendous following. Especially after the infamous sex tape of cast member Nikko and Mimi Faust. Let's just say that the show is maintaining it's audience and racking up money for media moguls in VH1.

Stay tuned for the drama every Monday at 8:30pm/eastern time.

Love and Hip Hop: New York Premiere

The wait is finally over! Love and Hip Hop NY is back on VH1 and is taking reality television to the next level. The season 4 premiere began on October 28th and fans are in shock over the new drama and cast.

If you aren't familiar with the Love and Hip Hop series, then let me enlighten you. The show follows the business and personal lives of rappers, artist, models, and managers in the entertainment industry. The show is full of music, drama, intense love affairs, and live performances. The show debuted in  2011 and was created by entertainment mogul, Mona Scott Young. The show has gained national attention and has become one of the most watch reality television shows in the last two years.

The new season began by introducing familiar faces such as Yandy Smith, Erica Mena, K. Michelle, Tahiri, Joe Budden, and Rich Dollarz from previous Love and Hip Hop seasons. Shortly after, we were introduced to newcomers Peter Gunz, Tara Wallace, and Amina Buddafly.

In the first 15 minutes of the show, cast member Yandy Smith had a variety of good and bad news. She opened up about her relationship with incarcerated fiancé, Mendecee.

Last season, Mendecee turned himself in for a drug trafficking charge with a mandatory sentence of 20 years. Smith revealed her feelings about the situation and having to potentially raise their new child alone.  Check out the clip below to listen to the conversation between Mendecee and Yandy.

However, on a positive side of things, Yandy revealed her business relationship with manager Rich Dollarz. They announced their new label venture and are looking for new talent. The announcement was revealed at a showcase. The revelation caught the eye of rapper and manager Peter Gunz. Gunz immediately introduced Amina Buddafly to Yandy and Rich Dollarz. Amina got on stage to perform and blew the audience away.

During Amina's performance viewers started to notice an erie flirtation between Amina Buddafly and Peter Gunz. In fact, it was later revealed Amina and Gunz were involved with one another. Confusingly enough, Gunz is currently together with his baby mother Tara Wallace who was in attendance of the showcase. Sounds like a potential problem will be arising soon.

After the showcase, Amina and Peter Gunz met with Rich Dollarz to talk about plans for Amina. However, Peter Gunz began to speak privately about their his relationship with Amina to his best friend Rich Dollarz. The business meeting soon became a intervention between Rich Dollarz, Amina, and Gunz. Rich Dollarz  discussed the impacts of mixing business and pleasure. He talked about his past encounters with the issue and warned them about what could potentially happen.

Oddly enough, the show would end with Amina revealing that she was Peter Gunz's wife. The shock caused an upset on the blogs and people were confused. How could Amina Buddafly be Gunz's wife when he is currently in a relationship with another woman?

The season premiere did not disappoint and I am sure there will be a fight in the near future. However, I have a question for my readers. Is it smart for a manager to have a romantic relationship with their artist? In my opinion, I think it is unprofessional. When you start to have a romantic relationship with your artist, it could provoke a whole new set of issues. For example, what if Gunz (the manager) takes on another female artist that Amina (the artist) feels is getting to much attention? Wouldn't that cause problems to the brand, music, and business that take place? Let me know your opinions on the issue!

Last, but not least, make sure to tune in every Monday on VH1 at 8pm to catch the new episodes of Love and Hip Hop NY.

She shared at the reunion that she was living from house to house and before receiving the call to be added to the cast, she was living in her car.

However, the sultry singer maintained her composure and validated why she is making a new beginning for her family and discussed her current living situation.

After the jokes and fun were over, the drama began to rear it's ugly head. The questions about Kelly Price's absences did not sit well with the Divas. The Divas explained their situation and the truth came out.  Confusion and communication issues amongst the cast became the downfall in the relationships of some of the Divas.

Lil Mo questioned the friendship her and Kelly Price shared. Then Wendy asked Chante Moore the tough question on the custody battle between her and ex husband Kenny Latimore. Love & Hip Hop Atlanta , Reunion Show 1

If you missed Part 1 of Love and Hip Hop Atlanta, then you truly missed out on a comical television event. First off, this article is definitely a spoiler alert. I apologize in advance if you haven't had the opportunity to see the first part of the Reunion Special.

The show started off the same with introductions of the cast members by the executive producer of the show Mona Scott Young. Everything seemed to be great. The vibe was set right with the live band. Everyone was all smiles and the show seemed to be taken a more positive position. However, no more than five minutes went by and stuff starts hitting the fan.

In a split instant things were heated. Right out the gate, Joseline and Mimi exchanged words about their feelings towards one another. After a brief conversation filled with obscenities and B-words, Joseline became a bit agitated. Next thing you know, she takes off her heels and charges full speed towards Mimi.

I have to give security their props. They were definitely on their "A" game. They were able to restrain Joseline before she was able to reach Mimi. The altercation was stopped and security was on high alert.

Check out the argument that caused the tension in the room between Joseline and Mimi. Brought to you by VH1.com

After a quick commercial break Mimi, Joseline, and Stevie J were the center of attention. The ladies were asked about their experiences with their fellow co-star, Stevie J. Surprisingly, the ladies were able to speak with one another and actually agree with what they had to say about the infamous ladies man.

Mona Scott Young then went on to ask the question that everyone around the nation wanted to know. Are Stevie J and Joseline actually getting married? Unfortunately, Stevie J seemed hesitant to respond if the two lovers were tying the knot. Mimi offered her insight on Stevie J and Joseline. She even reached out too offer words of wisdom to Joseline, warning her about Stevie's ways.

Check out Mimi actually offering her words of advice.

The story line would end at the commercial break and two familiar faces were brought on stage accompanied by their mothers. Erica and Scrappy appeared on stage and this time there was an awkward silence amongst the two.

The show highlighted the ending of their long and tumultuous relationship. The questions Mona had for  Erica had her at the brink of tears. However, she would not shed a tear for her former lover and father of her child.

Both Scrappy and Erica obviously care for one another, but  Erica was concerned with the well being of their child. She respectfully discussed that she did not want anything more than a friendship with Scrappy at the moment.

Check out the emotional break down Erica had on the show.

The story would go back and forth between Erica and Scrappy. Ultimately, the decision remained the same. They were apart and they did not want to reconcile their relationship at the present moment.

Next, the show would give a quick cameo spotlight to Drew and Tracy Steele. Which highlighted their complicated co-parenting relationship.

However, the thought on everyone's mind was the status of Rasheeda and Kirk. With Rasheeda being pregnant and Kirk just getting out the dog house for his public affair. The couple of 15 years is at a standstill and everyone wants to know what Rasheeda will do.

The show ended with Rasheeda ultimately addressing the future of their marriage. But right before she can even mutter a response, the show is over.

Part one is definitely a very entertaining reunion. The second part is sure to bring more laughs, drama, and news. Stay tuned for the second part of the reunion which premiers next Monday, August 12th at 8pm.
